Pneumatic Panel

Pneumatic Panel - A Boeing 737-800 Homecockpit #51

Many new features come together in this panel. I could use my new laser cutter again and had an idea for a new technic to create the two colored sections. And this was the first time I installed a dual needle gauge and saw it in action.

To create the two colored sections I had to make cut outs into the white panel first. Then engrave and cut out the inlays from a black painted piece of white acrylic. These cut outs had to be 0.14mm wider than the cut outs in the white panel to come out with a really tight fit. This offset depends on the thickness of your laser beam.
