Eyebrow Windows

The eyebrow windows were made from foam and wood and covered with a glass cloth and Acrylic One. I've build them directly into the openings that were left over from the ceiling coverage.

Material used:

  • Foam of 5cm thickness
  • 3mm HDF board
  • Acrylic One
  • Glass cloth
  • Paint RAL 7011
  • Construction glue

Every wooden piece was made from paper first and then cut to size until it fitted my needs. Then the template was transfered to the wood and cut out. I've measured all my used templates and collected them into a PDF file. You can download the file here. But these templates can only be something you can start with. You will have to adapt them to your needs.

The most used combination is glas cloth with epoxy resin. Just search for it on the internet and you will find many examples of how to use it. I think it is a little bit more difficult to sand but it will do the job.
