As long as everything works fine in your cockpit you won't need to look after your cable connections. But you may have heard about people went mad while grubbing through these rat nests of cables searching for the reaon of the failure and trying to find out which cable leads to which device.
So I hope I can show you some ideas to organize cables in your cockpit. It may take a little bit more time until you have finished all your connections. But you will come out with modular devices and panels that can be easily disasambled from the simulator. And you will be able to tsee which cable leads to which device.
